Our story
The practical stop in Bosque County
American Inn & RV Park sits at the junction of Highways 6, 22, 144 and 174 — the crossroads of Bosque County. If you are driving between Waco and Fort Worth, heading out to Lake Whitney, or coming in for a weekend at Meridian State Park, you pass our door.
We are independently owned and run. That means the person who checks you in is the person who cares whether your room is right. Rooms are cleaned to a standard we would accept ourselves, the RV pads are level and full-hookup, and the laundromat on site is open to guests and to the public.
No resort fees, no loyalty tiers, no upsells at the desk. Just a fair rate on a good room, in a quiet town worth stopping in.

Four highways meet at our door. It is the reason the inn is here, and the reason you can get anywhere in Bosque County from it without doubling back.

How we run it
Independently owned, and it shows
There is no call centre, no regional manager and no loyalty programme to sign up for. When you call, you reach the front desk. When something is wrong with your room, the person who fixes it is the person who owns the place. We think that is worth more than a points balance.
